This cover I received yesterday. It's a small size cover with one stamp I think all cover collectors have seen. It's a USA issued stamp with face value of 98 cents and is showing how do the Grand Teton National Park looks like. You can find out more about this park by clicking here.

Large size cover with 9 different stamps on it. Very interesting mini sheet with the pictures from different films issued in 1996. Four more stamps issued in 1994 and last one with the president of Kazakhstan issued in 1993.

Both covers were sent from a friend representing http://www.stampsmyanmar.com/
First cover is with two nice cancellation and large size stamp issued in 2011. This stamp is dedicated to the 63rd Independence Day 04.01.2011.
Second cover is quite odd shape envelope - square size with one souvenir sheet on it and four stamps. Souvenir sheet is issued in 2010 and is dedicated to 25th Anniversary of Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer. Two smallest stamps on corner of the envelope are issued also in 2010 and are dedicated to 62nd Anniversary of Independence. And two last stamps - large ones are issued also in 2010. The one with flag in background is dedicated for the Multi-Party Democracy General Elections. Unfortunately I don't have information about the last large size stamp.
Anyhow both covers are very nice and great addition to my collection.
On the 14th of January first stamp in year 2011 was issued in Latvia. The theme - rabbit. Below you can see how do the FDC look like and special first day cancellation. Somehow I must admit that for this issue the cancellation is the one I like the most.
About the stamp - designer Ludis Danilāns, face value of 35 santims (rate of domestic B priority letters up to 20 grams), number of issued stamps - 400 000. Stamps are printed in nice small sheets with 4 stamps in each sheet.

Two nice and quite good cancelled stamps on the cover. What I like about this cover the most is the way of writing address - with typing machine. This adds some oldness to the cover. The flower on cover is Daphne arbuscula, the second stamp has a picture of an old building and name of a small town - Svatuse. Thanks to Vaclav for this cover!

Only in the morning on the way to work I realized that it was 11th of January, 2011. And from philatelic point of view it was a nice date to have in a collection - 11-01-11. So I had to visit nearest to my work post office (which is also post office with postal code LV-1001) and make some covers. And here is the result - three covers with a nice date cancellation.
First one is cover I left at the post office which is cancelled by hand with post office's stamp.
The second cover is the same as first one (A-priority) only dropped in the post box where from all the letters are collected centrally by the central post office. Here you can see that the cancel is bigger and post office code is LV - 1000
This is the third cover. Also dropped in the post box and collected in the evening but you can see completely different cancellation. This is because this is B-priority letter. I must admit that this is the finest date stamp from these three covers. At least I like it the most.
So here you could see the three possible cancels that are available in Latvia - at the post office, dropped in the mail box A and B priority.

Here I can show you first stamp issued in 2011 that I have received this year. It is stamp from Lithuania issued on 8th of January. It is a stamp dedicated to the Defenders of a Freedom day in Lithuania. There were 150 000 stamps issued. As you can see then this cover was sent out on an issue date but on regular cover with regular cancellation. Anyhow I like such simple covers with a clear cancellations. Thanks, Algis!

First cover in 2011. It is a small and simple Christmas cover from Germany with two Christmas stamps - with pigeon and an angel. What I like about this cover is the fancy cancel by Deutsche Post in Deggendorf.
